I have recently started a new series inspired by the feelings of what I imagine most would define as happiness.  However, providing a name for these feeling seemed to dilute my experience.  The process of creating this series of sunflowers on chipboard started as a new style experiment to capture these feelings.  I cannot stop creating them!

Sunflowers (Helianthus) are a symbol of hope for me.  This has especially been true during early seasons of my life when I couldn't find my own hope.
